Declared the disposition of Arragua to work in the space of interaction between the practices of creation and the transmission of knowledge, Arragua promotes the program Space and Things, a name with clear Foucaultian resonances, which proposes to reformulate the projected look on the order of things in the field of knowledge transmission, specifically, in the order that the traditional school disseminates.

The programme Space and Things proposes, from the creation practices, to pay attention to the opportunity to ask some questions about the school device and the notion of episteme as a background on which the statements are made. This problematization has to help remove the "continuity" in the construction of the history of knowledge provided by the school device, to advance the use of "discontinuity", as a way of breaking with linearity as an operative concept.

From these approaches, the creation practices are shown as the appropriate tool to enable the conditions of transformation that the school device demands.

The activities proposed in this program involve works by artists and educational researchers that link different aspects and levels: research, dissemination, creation, training and interpretation, opening the field of work to physical action, sound, technology, teaching and creative research, etc.

This programme is nowadays developed with different educational centers in the Lea-Artibai region.
Space and Things has three differen lines of application:

On the way to school, it is a project developed directly with the students in the classrooms.+ info

The Shared School is a creation project applied to schools that, from the concept of reuse and collaborative production, participate in a common fund of multi-use inflatable architectures.+ info

Leatronik is as a large electronic experimentation laboratory that involves the entire educational community of the territory. + info
